the grocery list, can i use bread?

hey, i've got all the items on the grocery list. can i use bread to make sandwiches or no? if i cannot use regular bread, what can i use?

bread pretty much sucks in my opinion. no matter how you look at it, its still processed flour...processed carbs, and can never hold a candle to brown rice, oats, barely, or other unprocessed grains.

plus 2 slices of bread can't easily hold 30g of protein filled meat.

I Make my own bread (yes I know I'm a right little house wife). My bread has a lot of seeds and grains in it.

2 slices of my bread = 10g protien
30g carbs
3g fat
3g fiber

So you only need a 20grams worth of chicken breast.

Bread is alright for sandwiches as long as it's 100% whole wheat bread. Just don't eat it at night. Some of these guys are so carb contious that they don't eat any. But if your weight training, and trying to build muscle you need carbs. Just in the right moderation, and at the right time of day, meaning earlier in your day. Personally, I eat most of my carbs for breakfast and lunch, and my dinner has as few carbs as I can handle. Basically, eat the bread if you want, but wien yourself off it, as the day goes on. If you go to sleep with it in your system, it will turn to sugar, which turns to fat.

And that is definite? Any amount of carbohydrates will turn into fat if you fall asleep with it in your stomach?

The best bread i have found is natures own hearty oatmeal. 2 Slices contains 200 calories, 3 g fat, 36 g carbs, 6 g fiber, and 10 g protein. Pretty tasty too.

Pepperridge Farm has some good breads. They are Whole Grain / Wheat. They do not contain HFCS. I also get my wheat bread from a local bakery here. It is all natural, and does not contain any perservsatives. I love it.
