The Fat Man Speaks

I have a long story about my fight with weight, my story is on my web page, but the bottom line is that I found there are just two things you need to win the fight, moderation and motivation. If you just open you hand you will know how much to eat, if you look in the mirror, you will know why. Every fat man in us, please allow me the generic use of the term, man, wants to eat until you burst and is in a constant fight with the skinny wimp that sometimes summons up the power to say No. The problem with that, is that the skinny wimp is secretly pumping weights and usually allies himself with bad information, that allows him to get in a couple of shots that cause the fat man to stagger. You lose the weight in the short term but then the Fat Man gets up and he is really hungry and very angry. The wimp gets put into the closet. So the wimp comes up with a new plan, this time, convince the fat man that he should eat better filling foods in moderation, such as protein based foods, like eggs over cereal. The fat man does not feel threatened and does not notice, at first, the loss of bulk. The wimp becomes stronger too. He metamorphoses into a happy and healthier being that will eventually merge with the fat man to become the one person I wanted to be, a happy me.
Thank you.

For those of you that asked in the other place, my weight was 345 pounds before I decided to really take off the weight. I now weigh 216 pounds and I am heading to my happy weight of 169 pounds. Thank you for asking.

Glad to have you on board, and congrats on your weight loss! I'm hoping you are here to help members of the forum and not to promote your website.

I am here to support others

Yes, I am here to support others and if they want to look at my web site, thats okay too. But this is more than inviting someone to look at my stuff and buy something from me, it is support for me too. I have weak moments, those self loathing times when I could use someone to talk to or at least know that I am not alone. So, we are help to support each other. By the way, in the interest of full disclosure, my site is free, it is , but it is supported by some ads, and if someone wants to buy something from it, they have to click through on the Google ad that are on on the Google Search banner engine, there is a product box from Amazon.com through their click on box, and the only thing I commercially promote, because it actually helped me put things about weight loss in perspective, is a book from a company called STF, in which a person can click on the book and end up on their site. I do not think I missed any of the ads but I have missed telling about my story which is most of the web site, a few antidotes and other light comments and words to support others that face the struggle of our inner fat men or women. Thank you.
:hurray:
