The dumbest thing you have done while training? LOL

Any stupid things anyone has done while training?

Well, I just did one.

I was doing cardio and I have the olympic weight holder next to the cycle, and while I cycle I like to grab two 10lbs weights (one in each hand), hold them in the air, tighten my ab torso for a progressive duration of minutes, and I got so into it, (lol), I loosend by left hand grip, and it came down and bonked me in the head. Now have to walk around with a knot on top of my balding @ss head,,,,,,,,,,,LOL. Hell I could have killed myself,,,,,,I MUST PAY ATTENTION.

the other day i had a cheat meal and was extremely pissst off so I hopped on the tredmill and as I was running I punched a whole through the wall because I was so mad. Not thinking smart i almost lost my balance and fell off. The next day my pops asked me who threw a pool ball through the wall :p
 
I'll throw on out there. Last month or the month before men's fitness had this swiss ball squat as a fitness chalenge... i skipped the steps and went right for it, and totally ate it big time.

i am also in the process of recovering from a skydibing injury and when i landed i landed right on my scitic nerve damaged hip joint,,, i could hardly walk for two days.

you all are the first to hear what actually happened.

LOL! GOOD ONE! Here;s one: I have grandma living with me, and she is (75), and doc says 2 minutes on cycle on level 1, (ans she is hugely over weight), and she did do it for 2 minutes, and then goes over to the scale, and see if she lost any weight (LOL!!!!!!)

Well, we try to be perfect, LOL. The knot on my head reminds me this isnt true, LOL.

this is a great thread to help people learn from others.

the dumbest thing i did was try to jerk the way up when i was deadlifting. i was really pumped up and i was trying to break a PR so i lost good form.

haha this other time, when i went to do some chinups, i was used to wearing 20lbs while doing chins and this day i was doing them raw, with nothing else but shoes. i pulled myself up so hard and fast that i hit my nose and chin against the bar lol. didnt really hurt that bad but it was a wakeup call
 
LOL, proteinboy. We MUST know that when not using weight (and we are used to doing with weight), that resistence against gravity is less, and not allow to smash face (LOL)..............Great!
 
Before when i was !gN0R3nt (about 2 years ago:p ) i would hold those little weights while running:eek:.

LOL my friend was doing that a week ago and i told him not to do it. he said hes building muscle and i told him "no your killing your joints"

he stopped running with them not because what i said but because he didnt see results
 
All good! :) As I feel the throbing bump on my head. Its gonna be a constant reminder of my dumbess, as I go back to the cycle and get my blood moving again its only going to fricken throb more, LOL
 
When to wear a protector CUP:

Okay Im telling on myself again: I use (i know the drawbacks, but they work for me, okay), weighted half-up situps. Once I was using two 25's on chest, and one slid off, and racked me GOOD! From then on I wear a protector cup when I do them, LOL. Protector CUP when doing situps? LOL
 
No, I have my home gym in the garage. So, this was a private embarrassment. LOL

With one exception: Im married, (24 years), and well, she found out, if you know what I mean, LOL
