Hi,

Just joined today and wanted to say hello. I just started an energy/wellness business and I want to be a great model for it. I feel it's important to walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

I know a lot about nutrition and well-being but I don't always act on what I know. I get stubborn and defiant sometimes. What's funny is I'm the one I'm defying. What is that about??!!

I have had a lifelong tendency to live in extremes - either frugality and denial or going off the deep end. Have either worked for me? Not so far!

So I'm not really looking for the latest foolproof diet, the best weight loss recipes, or the best fat burning exercise.

I'm looking for balance, loving the taste of food, enjoying my walks in the woods or on the beach, and having energy that lasts the whole day. I'm making no promises about numbers on a scale or about what I will do tomorrow. I just want to feel good today.

I believe feeling good is everyone's birthright. And when we can feel good about ourselves, we can see the big picture for our lives and manifest what we are here to contribute.

I'm looking forward to connecting to others here in the forum and having great discussions.
