My current height -5'7 (176cm tall)

My current weight -167 pounds (76 kg)
My goal weight - 150 pounds (68 kg)

My current BMI - 24.4 (So just in the top end of normal)
My goal BMI - 22

Age - 22

Hi all!

I am starting this as a weight loss journal. Please feel free to watch my progress, check out what is/isn't working for me and provide feedback if you can see anything I could be doing better.

I have lost 2kg in these first two weeks - have had one standard drink of alcohol, a few mint patties as treats but other than that have been very strict on myself. Oats with water for breakfast, grazing rather than having 3 big meals, watching my portion sizes, not trying to keep up with my partner and have started salsa to add to my 3 workouts I currently do weekly.

My main reason for losing weight (toning up) is to look better, keep up with my partners high fitness level and feel confident about myself.

I am not overweight or very unhealthy but have put on 8kg since moving to Melbourne and just not feeling 100% about that.

That's great that you're starting a weight loss journal. So many people find the feedback encouraging and are motivated to push further. Also, advice can be given to help you if you are feeling down, need suggestions about diet and exercise or confused about what to do regarding other things. It's a great tool to use to let off steam too ^_~ winx lol

It's cool that you have a partner with a good fitness level since maybe that person can support you and the both of you can participate in routines together.
