Hey everybody,

I started on this message board a while back, but I've been missing for the past few months. There are many reasons for this, and it didn't do much for my weight let me tell you! I'm back in the game, and this time I'm really serious. It's not like I wasn't serious before, but I let life's little brick walls really stand in the way of my weight loss.

Just for those who are new or have forgotten little old Tarrish here is my info.

I'm a 22 year old girl living in Southern California. I currently weigh 173 lbs, and my weight goal is 130 lbs. Before I had said I was 160 something lbs but guess what? My scale was weighing me ten lbs less then what I really was!!! That's ok, I just laughed it off. Last year I lost 30 lbs, and I'm up to losing that much and a little more for this and next year. I would love to lose the weight by March because that's when I'm going to Thailand. When my friends saw me last I weighed 200 lbs, so I would love to surprise them with my weight loss. 30 lbs lighter is great, but 60 lbs lighter would be even more amazing.

I'm the kind of person who needs support with issues like weight so I'm here again looking for support, guidance and just to feel a little connection with those who are trying to do the same thing as me....lose weight.
 
Welcome back. There seem to be a number of "long-timers" on here so I'm sure someone will remember you. (I've just been around a few days, myself). Congratulations on your re-commitment to losing, and best of luck to ya!

We have a lot in common..Almost the same weight/goals..

I'm 177.4 shooting for 135-140..{put me in a size 9/10} I'M 34.. :eek:

Thanks for the comment on my journal, and welcome back Tarrish. Awesome that are goals are so close. I've officially added you as a buddy. Good luck reaching your goal before Thailand and congrats on your weight loss from last year! Do you count calories at all? What do you do to work out?
