Taking L Glutamine and creatine at the same time?

high i have heard that taking both l glutamine and creatine at teh same time is not good. because one gets in and one doesnt. but then from another site iheard its better to take them together. so which is i? take them together or at least 2 hours apart? also i would like to take at least 35 grams of dextrose with my creatine but what foods are high in dextrose? also on one site i heard sodium hurts intake of both of these and then on another that it helps so which is it?

also one lasat thing on my creatien bottle it says on the back 95 mg sodium 35 g total carbohydrates (35 g sugars) 1000mg of taurine
ok so is thsi 35 grams on purpose sfor the insulin spike and same with the sodium? also i just want to add in i drink it with koolaid which adds 5 mg sodium 17 g carbs(17g sugars)

Gip,
I didn't find that adding L-Glut to creatine did anything for me.

That would be the first that I've ever heard of creatine needing sodium. If you're doing a protein powder, chances are you're getting enough glutamine in.

Anything that has glucose in it is what you need. I can't think of any foods right off the top of my head that are high in glucose/dextrose, they're usually found in drinks. You can always just buy glucose or dextrose from the store.

can u think of any drinks with high glucose dextrose? can sugar cut it? also i get about 6 g of glutamine in everyday from protein and i just take one serving of glutamine at night which is 5 g thanks for all your replies

yes you can take glutamine and creatine at the same time. thats from layne norton who posts on message boards and is about to get his phd dealing with amino acid metabolism. i trust him

now if your container says 35 grams of carbs, it already had dextrose in it. look at the ingredients to make sure.
