this is my second week doing Tae Bo since the pilates was getting easy.

what i want to know is if you gain muscle by doing Tae Bo beacuse muscle makes it seem as if you gained weight but you didnt is muscle weight.

i havent seen my scale move much its goes to 136 and 135 =/
and i havent been taken measurments i always forget

So i want to know how that works...

thanks

Its TRUE HUN,.....like this past month I was all BLUE cause I only lost one LB....but I took measurements and in one month I lost more inches and almost no lbs.....SHhhhheeessh WHO cAREs if its GONNA be like that! BUT do it....TAKE MEASUREMENTS>.....I posted them in my Couch Potato to Marathon Honey Diary!

Looking GOOD!

Take those measurements! You could:
a)lose weight on the scale but stay the same size or
b)stay the same on the scale but lose inches and wear smaller clothes sizes

You should be aiming to get extra muscle so you can burn more calories when you're sitting still. The more muscle the better. Yes it can make the scale go up, but it won't be because of fat but because of muscle plus your clothes sizes will go down.

Plus the faster you lose, the faster it comes back so celebrate that the scale moved at all and be proud of yourself because you're doing VERY well! Enjoy Tae bo! It's a great weight loss help.

It depends on which Taebo you are doing. The ones with the bands could put muscle on as they are resistance bands.

I would not stress too much about dropping or not dropping poundage. Check your mesurements, those are the reall sign of weight loss, and if nothing is going on there, don't worry, your weight loss will catch up. It has to.

I agree with what has been said. As a bona-fide TaeBo junkie, I can tell you that you definitely can get smaller without losing weight. If you are doing the workouts with the resistance bands, you will gain muscle, which takes up less room than fat. Those measurements are crucial to properly gauge your weight loss, even though it's tough to get them done every week. Keep up with the TaeBo and you will see results.

Taebo is just brilliant! I started it recently and I'm really beginning to notice the difference. I haven't lost any weight (although I don't have much to lose anyway) but I have so much more energy and it's really toning up my legs.
