Hey there. I'm Brooke.
My current weight is 142 and I am 5'2"
I have recently been deciding I need to lose weight.
I have found that I enjoy swimming laps at the pool for about 45 mins. to an hour a day. To get to the pool I bicycle about a mile and a half there and back at a moderatively fast pace.
If I do this everyday with about a 1,200 calorie intact should I be able to lose weight at a sufficient pace?
I have googled "swimming for weight loss" and have found a mixture of different results. Some articles say that you may end up gaining weight, some say that I will lose weight because it is a great excerise, or that my weight will stay the same. I don't really care about my weight, but I am more looking to tone up and burn fat.
Has anyone here tried swimming for weight loss or fat burn? Or do you know what results it will get me?
I also have cheerleading practice 3 times a week for about 1 and a half hours each practice.
Do you think that all of this together will bring me results? Or should I add in 20 minutes of Stairmaster 3 times a week on top of all of this?
Any information or advice would be great!!
Thanks so much!
Love,
Brooke.
