Hi all, I am a homemaker, I have 2 daughters , a great husband, and 5 cats. I used to be a stripper/dancer , in my late 20's. I had the hottest body, but 2 kids, and 2 husbands later ( one passed away from an accident),
I weighed in Jan and just about fell over seeing 196 on the scale.
I lost weight from this jan to march at 2 pounds per week, at 178 till March, then I had surgery, stayed home, and gained it back, sad thing is I should be at 120. I am 5 ft 2 in, muscular build, I have a cute figure, even when heavy, I was blessed with the hourglass figure, even with weight. I am a dd bust and wide hips and a smaller waist.
So I had to start over at 192, I have lost 18 pounds so far. Im using all sorts of tequniques to acheive my goal. I have a reduced calorie diet, excersize daily , and I am getting Dr. help. I also started off with a cleanse, and now I am very careful what goes in my mouth.
My first goal was to re-lose the weight I lost in Feb. = yeah I made that goal. woo hoo.
My second goal is now to get to 150, which is what I got married at just 2 yrs ago.
My third goal is 120. I asked my generous husband the other day : "Uhm, if I get to my ideal weight for my height, can I have a red corvette? " I was kidding! He said " yes! " and he wasn't kidding. I just about fell over. So now he tells me its true I can have one. I have no idea if we can afford that , when the time comes, but wow, that motivates me! woo hoo. Plus I will have a hot body again, so I am determined.
He also wants to re-new vows ( his idea & our 3 yr anniversary) next april, while we vacation in the caribbean, and it would be ideal if I was at 120 by then. So that is my goal also.
This looks like a great forum, and everyone here is so positive, and that is so encouraging. Hugs to you- for being so vocal about your weight loss progress, and encouragement to so many people. I hope I can be just as encouraging to you.
