Suggestions please!?

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions on excersizing.. Im wondering what would be the best for me to do throughout the day, the best ways to loose the weight and the best techniques..Maybe you could share what you do for excersize that works.. BTW- Im a 16 year old female, 172 lbs and 5'4 ...Thanks in advance :D
 
There are tons of things that you can do to help you lose weight. Probably the best combination overall - for weight loss, for health, for everything - is a combination of strength training and high intensity interval training (HIIT).

Both can be done in a gym or at home and you can do a lot of strength building just using your own bodyweight, doing things like squats, lunges, crunches, pushups, dips, stepups, burpees, and various other exercises that don't require a lot of equipment.
 
Eating healthy and exercise (of any kind) is always the best way to lose weight. Personally, I have found that riding a stationary bike and/or running has helped me lose a lot of weight. Although, I'm not a 172 lb girl. I'm a fat, 255 lb gorilla of a man. Well, partially shaved gorilla is more accurate.

Hello Babymomma,

You know the paretto rule? The paretto rule is a rule that states that 20% of the activities we make generate 80% of the results we get. If you want one exercise that will help you lose weight, or burn fat, or produce results is cardio.

By cardio I mean exercises like: walking, jogging, running, high intensity intervals, etc.

These exercises generally have the same purpose of increasing the oxigen in your bloodstreaming which improves your hearth, your health and helps you burn fat.

In fact, jogging is the best exercise you can do that will help you lose weight. Obviously you have to eat well and do also some weight lifting.

Here's a secret: if you want to increase the effect of cardio exercises more, do them in the morning.

Last night on a hike thru the woods i hurt my ankle and cant do much at the moment...argh.. But today i started lifting weights to burn calories because i couldnt do anything else.. I liked it.. I only did three minutes with each arm at a time (thats all I could handle, i thought my arms were gonna fall off, although the weights were only ten pounds. )It felt awesome tho, my arms felt so light afterwards.. So i got my dad to move my brothers weight bench from the shed (it hasnt been used in forever) And It has a leg lifting thing, pretty neat! ..Also, I like to jog, so thats a plus!

Ive been eating well for the past few days and i already feel better!

P.S, Anybody know anything i can do to target my Love handles? They are what i want to get rid of the most..

For your ankle just give it some rest, apply some ice, some compression and put your foot in an elevated position. That way it will heal faster.

Unfortunately you cannot "target" any part of your body for weight loss. You can just lose weight and eventually it'll come off where you want it to. :) It sucks, but that's just the way it is.
