Subscription options?

I'm a bit confused on subscription options for the forum. Usually when I sign up for a new forum, I make sure my subs are set up so that I automatically subscribe when I post yet don't receive any e-mail notifications - I usually check a forum daily. I feel like there's usually been a "No e-mail" option or something similar, but here I get the idea there are only e-mail options or no automatic subs at all.

All that being said, I posted a new member thread and the thread shows in my control panel, so maybe I have nothing to worry about? Right now it's set to "through my CP only."

geeeez, you knwo alot more than me on the dynamics of a forum.

BUT- I know that you can turn off the e-mail notifications in the "settings" section.

Hey jcorp,

If you go to "Settings" up near the top right corner of the screen, then go to "General Settings" under the "My Settings" heading in the left side column, there is an option called "Default Thread Subscription Mode" where you can change your preference for notifications when people comment after your posts.
