stupid vacations...

Well, I just got back from a 10 day vacation...needless to say I didn't keep up with my eating or workouts. I stepped on the scale this morning and im 5.4 lbs heavier than when I left. :( It's time to get back on track!

the way i see it is ...i`ve worked out 50 weeks of the year i`m entitled to a holiday and rest ....if i put a little weight on then so be it .it`s not a problem dont worry about it.

most of the people i see working out on holiday clearly don`t workout the rest of the year whats all that about???:)

Well yesterday I worked out and ate right, and I'm down 4.3 lbs! I guess that extra weight was just some spare water weight or whatnot.
Either way I'm glad I got to experience the "culture". (beer and food...lots of both) ;)

You didn't store fat that fast....you're just bloated, packed and runnin' heavy. Point being; It's not as bad as you think!

You know what to do...get back on it! Go lean for a few days, sweat, workout and I bet that weight will disappear even faster then you put it on.

And don't be so hard on yourself, I think it's good to give your body an excess of calories every now and then. The body adapts to things, and that includes caloric intake. As I see it, your body now thinks it can run rich so it'll run a hotter fire...now's the time to strike! Go lean & shed the fat before your body readjust to the lower routine calories! :D

Well I guess all that weight was just waterweight and bloating - I'm now 3lbs lower than when I left for vacation.

I guess they're not all that bad after all :azzangel:

Time to do the "I told ya so" dance....would you prefer an Irish Jig or more of a hip-hop version?

And once again we establish the adage: you cruise, you lose! ;)

Heheheh it wasn't much of a cruise. It was basically hiking almost daily in 35+ degree weather. No wonder I lost a few pounds:azzangel:

Funnily enough the same thing happened to me. I put on a kilo when I went away for 3 days (yes I did get stuck into a lot of food). Been a few weeks now and I'm already less than when I left.
