:( Stuck, still want to lose a stone.

I apologise if this is in the wrong place or anything like that. Um, I weigh 70kg and have for about 2 weeks despite increasing exercise and dieting. Not sure why, does anyone have any advice? Also, how long would I need to take losing a stone for it to be healthy?

Kind of wanted to be smaller for christmas, and avoid any nasty comments or bad photos.Any advice would be really appreciated. x
 
first off, what's your daily calorie intake? if you cut too much out you'll send your body into starvation mode which will only make things harder in the long run. as far as how long it should take you, a healthy weight loss is around 1% of your body weight a week (give or take depending on how much you have to lose and so on). 14 lbs between now and christmas is doable if you stick with a healthy plan.
Don't really know what else to say without any extra info abot what you're doing right now.

I guess it just takes time, you need to have patients when it comes to loosing weight. If you try to rush and loose too much too quickly it wont last, you need to make sure you loose the weight you want at a steady pace :)
 
something must be wrong somewhere. try to find out if you are actualy taking the right amount of calories. becuase its a rule of thumb, calorie deficit leads to weight loss. are u on any drugs? prednisolone or sstreoids maybe? for any medical ailment?

This probably stupid but I'm not sure how many calories I eat. A normal day would consist of:

breakfast= one slice of toast w low fat spread
or small bowl of cereal w skimmed milk

snack= some soy beans (handful) or a nutrigrain bar
or snack packet of raisins

lunch= egg/chickensalad sandwich
or lunch pot of noodles w veggies

dinner= jacket potatoe w vegetables
or something else :p


I eat too much?
I don't take any drugs. I do drink a lot of tea and diet coke.

I exercise quite a lot, I think. I walk home 5 days a week which takes between 30-45 mins. And exercise for about 30 when I get home. :(

ALTHOUGH my weight is around 65-66kg now, so that's some improvement...kinda. My body is just stupid. :(
 
How tall are you?

It looks like you are eating WAAAY too little to me, you should be consuming no lower than 1,200 cals at the minimum, even more depending on your height.
