i`ve been on a diet now for 4 weeks and have lost 8lbs but i`m struggling now to find new recipe`s to cook for my main meal of the day. are things like steak and pork chops ok to cook with veggy`s and boiled potatoes?
I made pork chops all the time and I eat steak to I just have to watch my portion sizes.
If you like shrimp this is a great, easy healthy recipe:
Cook some whole wheat pasta
In a frying pan combine
White cooking wine
Extra virgin olive oil and some chopped garlic and chopped dried red peppers (of just buy the pepper flakes)
Add mushrooms (any kind you like)
Cook for a few minutes until mushrooms become slightly soft
Add shrimp (can be any variety)
Let is simmer until shrimp is cooked
Add cooked pasta into the frying pan and mix it all together
Sprinkle some chopped parsely and drizzle fresh lemon juice over your plate and done!!
It's light, flavorful and absolutely delishous!!!!
