Stretch Marks

Hi, I wasn't sure if this was the adequate forum for this but I thought it would be.

I recently turned 20 years old and I decided to take excersise more serious.

I have always been a pretty lean person, not exactly super thin but definitly not near overweight.

After a few days of excercise I got what it seems like several stretch marks on my thighs. They look like big cuts on the skin.

Now I got some small cuts on my armpits, they look very tiny but still noticeable.

I know in a way this means I've been building muscle, but I'm scared to continue and have things get worse.

Do any of you have any advise?

If you google stretch marks armpits and/or thights, my case is not half as bad as all the pictures that pop up. They don't look anything like that, but I still don't like them.

So any advise as to how limit any more of them appearing would be appreciated.

I work out 1hr a day every day.

You didn't build enough muscle in a couple of days to get stretch marks, you probably already had them but only just noticed.

I guess the only way to limit them is to moisturise regularly and don't gain weight too fast so your skin grows at the same rate as you.

That said, be a man and be proud of any stretchmarks you get!
