Streching before working out. help !

OK, so in the past when I have worked out, I tend to get hurt after awile. I think the problem lies with not streching and warming up well enough. Anyone have some ideas of what I should be doing before working out??

BTW at this point I have a bike that the arms pump also, and free weights.

Any help to get me going, and keep me from getting hurt? Thanks!!!
 
I was surprised to learn this "dynamic stretching" in physical therapy.

The static stretches were left for the end, as a cool down.

I agree that it works.
