still lagging.

I noticed while I was at my cottage that my left arm is STILL lagging behind, 2 people told me my right arm is much bigger than my left, so I took a look myself, and noticed a big difference.

I am right handed, but I try and do as much lifting with my left arm as possible, so it can catch up.

I don't over train it, I might do a few more reps for it, or something small for it to catch up, but it just wont!

Any tips? I feel like the difference between the 2 is getting bigger, rather than smaller.....

Having just done some study on this very subject here are some things you can do to play catch up so to speak. However know that some is just do to genetics and at a point you can only manipulate it so much in your favor. Giving the weaker arms higher reps by the way is the wrong way to go.

-Use dumbells as much as possible in your lifting. If doing bench presses with barbell, switch out to a DB Fly for a little while. If you have been doing standing bicep curls, change to seat single curls starting with your strong arm first and applying the same focus and form with each arm, same sets and reps.
-With compound movements like squats, deadlifts..make sure to focus on what you are really doing. Are you putting more power on one side then the other? So you find one side getting worn out quicker. If so then make sure your core work is strong as well. A weak core can lead to stablitly issues that can in short mae one side work harder than another.
-Make adjust ments for all exercises. If you are using only a few isolates and mostly compond movement then that weaker side isn't going to be isolated either. so search out the best dumbell work you need for your goals, and give it a month or two. It usually doesn't take to long for one side to catch up to the other if your form and technic are good with the DB's and you catch it early.
