steroids question

Dont worry, I'm not going to do them but I was wondering somthing. How come you lose a lot of muscle when you quit steroids?...I saw this guy on Made (MTV), and he gained like an inch on his arms, then was off it a while and lost it...just wondering.

Mostly because while you inject synthetic test into your body, there is no need for your body to make it, so it stops. And then you stop taking steroids all of a sudden and your body still isn't making much test.. soooo catabolism starts. Proper PCT & education can combat this..

Good points Mreik brought up. Also, you'll find a lot of those that use steroids with knowledge of what they're doing will screw up any gains when they come off because they don't know how to train and eat right.

Your body only stops producing testosterone if you "cycle" incorrectly. Thats why steroids are typically taken in cycles, to prevent your body from stopping production altogether.
I think evolution is right. Most meatheads that take that junk, dont know how to train properly........hence the need for 'roids.

No even if you cycle correctly your natural test levels drop (I never said stop, your body rarely completely stops making test) because there is no need for your body to make much. Which is why people go on PCT also known as post cycle treatment, to help suppress estrogen and the aromatase enzyme through both competitive and non-competitive inhibition. And steroids are taken in cycles to help minimize this effect, also because results usually slow after 10-12 weeks. I just did a grad-research paper on this, that's why I'm full of otherwise useless info.
