steroid without the side effects?

Yeah that's exactly what my question is about. I was at GNC earlier and I was just going to get some more Whey protein and l-glutamine, and this guy that worked there told me about this product that is suppose to boost testosterone and so on just like steroids, but it does not have the side effects. He said that you will not get break outs and after you stop you wont get enlarged breasts and so on. Is this true? The name is Tribulous Fuel by twin lab and the active ingredient is Protodioscin, does anyone know what I am speaking of and if it really works?
thanks

Anything related to the product steroid, or is compared to steroids, is not an item I would use.

Mind you, this is IMHO. ;)

be cautious of the info you get from ppl who sell supps. they do that to try and push a slow selling item.

if tribulus worked like steroids, believe me everyone would be taking it.

And if it really worked as well as a steroid the FDA would classify it as a drug and you would need a perscription to buy it! There are some other supplements that do have mild testosterone boosting effects: 1AD, creatine and andro which you might want to try. I have tried them all and they all seem to have some mild beneficial effects, but that's only one persons anecdotal experinece.

Yeah, I read up on the stuff and it does work IN COMBINATION with Andro. However, andro is soon to be sold no more. The FDA will be making it illegal to sell andro. The tribulous fuel helps to block unwanted and unused estrogen to downsize some of the side effects of andro and anabolics, plus make them more potent and extend the results. It's a conspiracy, andro works, nothing wrong with allowing the sell of it...damn FDA. Same with ephedra, the only people that really suffered fataly from taking ephedra were the abusers. Also, a majority of the deaths happened when the consumer had consumed very large amounts of alcohol the night before, thus slowing the heart down, then in the morning taking heavy doses of ephedra...not smart. Well anyways thanks for the replies anyhow,
scott

You hit the nail on the head to, by the way, dswithers...anything that works needs a prescription.
