Hi guys n girls

I have one of these twist stepper machines. It came with a DVD but no real 'plan' or 'regime'. The thing is cardio vascular workout and Low impact aerobics. But how long is a decent work out and all that? It came with the arm cords for the upper body stuff to so am all set. I feel the part but i get all geared up, start pounding away.... and .... like.... think... and?

I want to burn calories. I'm 48, 5'10" and roughly 178 pounds, down from 205 pounds six months ago. I want to get to around 170 lbs and hold it there. I'm quite active in my job with 12 hours a day on my feet.

Anyone got any guidelines on these machines? Or advice? It seems even short workouts are quite hard compared to the 8.5 miles a day i was cycling (in around 50 minutes). I want to put the bike away for the winter and use this machine instead.

HELPPPPPP !!!!!

Is that like the lateral thigh trainer? Myself i'd say this is very hard work, i bought the lateral thigh trainer and havent really stuck to it due to been so much hard work!:( I did do 1 week and a hafe or something on my lateral thigh trainer, i did around an hour per day i know this is hard work but get some dance music to keep you going, it does help.

I seen results on myself after a week, my bum lifted , my thighs got more toned just after a week.

So what im saying is try 1 hour per day everyday to see results.
have fun :p
