steak?

IMO, there is nothing wrong with it. Just keep the portion size down. I try to keep my portions to the size of my palm. Just an easy way to estimate what size to have....

Also... trim off that fat!
 
In moderate it's fine, say maybe once per week. Try to find lean cuts when you do eat it. For the rest of your meat intake, try to stick with the leaner types like chicken, turkey, and fish as much as possible. It also depends how you cook the steak... a grilled steak with a bit of spice is a much healthier option than steak covered with a lot of BBQ sauce.
 
iq rider... great point about the portion size! The size of the palm of your hand should be the max size of a protein portion.
 
I think that roast beef, and other lean cuts are probably better for you than steak. You just have to slow cook it.... ohhhhh.... yeah!
