starting with an introduction

I hesitate in starting this forum. I just gave birth 2 months ago and unfortunately my daughter is pretty difficult and has some separation issues so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to give to weight loss (even asking for a washroom break is pushing it!). That being said; I need to do something and start something so I'm going to give it a go.

Luckily I've lost my pregnancy weight already, but I still have so much more I need to lose. I've been big my entire life and I couldn't bare to have my daughter go through the same thing - I need to set a good example. I also don't want her to know me as a big person.

I have to get going (I managed to put her down for 20 minutes now and and she's about to notice I'm gone) but I just wanted to start somewhere today and I figured an introduction would be a good place to start. Hopefully I'll have more time in the future.

First off, congratulations on your little miracle! I've got 2 myself and let me tell you .. time flies by so quickly!

I'd suggest starting a diary/journal in the appropriate section. I can definitely give you some ideas with exercises you can do with your baby safely so that you've got time to take care of your body but also bond with the little one.

I'd also recommend looking into any local new mom exercise groups in your area - it'll give you an opportunity to socialize (that's a tough with a new baby) but also get some activity into your life as well.
