Starting Tomorow

Hey all. Im 14 years old male and im starting my weight loss challange tomorow on the 8th of February. My goal is to get down to 115 Lbs as my ticker below shows. I was just wondering if anyone had any last minute tips on how I can get through it without quiting. Thanks xD
 
At your age, you really don't need to be dieting or eating at a calorie deficit. I would focus instead on eating healthy and adding in some reasonable exercise.

but if your really serious (even tho u dont seem to need to lose weight) .. i would just worry about portion control and not calories :D

That Is what I intend to do, eat healthy foods and avoid lots of fizzy drinks and sweats, and do bit of exercise.
 
You're at the age where you could start strength training. Add in some cardio exercise (running, or some sports or some mix) and you won't need to worry about your weight. Not eating the junk will help you though.

I don't know how tall you are, but I doubt you really need to lose any weight. Strengh training and putting on some muscle will help get you a better define body. Maybe thats what you are looking for?
 
Yeah. i knew I would get these type of messages saying I shouldnt just because of my age. But I will still carry on :)
 
It's not really your age (ok part is) but a good hunk is for your size, you are not 'overweight'. Toning is what you need, not dieting.
 
I've been in your shoes. I worked out when I was 14. Sporadically, but I did. Nutrition is really key here. You are going to keep growing, so if you ensure that you are eating correctly and remain moderatly active, its going to work itself out pretty easy.

Im not sure what your height is, but I dont know many 16 or 18 year old males that weigh in the 130s; its gonna change.
