Hi--I am new to this forum. I am going to start being responsible for my eating habits. I am going to start working out. Finding time is my downfall. Looking for support and tips on staying motivated.

I'm starting today too! The first thing I did was get a box of meal replacement drinks cause when I get hungry, I do one of two things: eat a big meal and feel guilty or dont eat at all in some desperate hope that I will do the right thing later but as I get hungrier and hungrier then I end up going back to option 1, eating a big meal and feeling guilty. So, anyway, the meal replacement drinks(Boost High Protein) are something I can chug in a second and then calmly find something else to do besides eat. That scenario is one I go round and round in so that's my way of circumventing it. Good Luck!

While that can be good for you if it works for you..but..um..I don't believe this is really a good plan. Meal replacement drinks still have calories. That big meal still has calories. My advice is take a moment to look at the forum stickies as they will give you solid information on weight loss. You really don't need to look at these meal replacement drinks. Instead, you can eat actual real meals.

I use a meal replacement shake for breakfast because I dont like to eat for like 1.5 hours after I work out in the morning and a shake can be done at my desk. And a few days I get busy so I do it for lunch also. Im still hungry but it takes the edge off.
