Starting to slack on diet

So pretty much i have had about 2.5 month of hard dieting and a decent amount of exercise and it has paid off. I am very happy with myself although i am still not at my goal (lose 38 pounds, ive lost about 22). But the past 3ish weeks i have been seriously doing bad on my dieting, going about 150-200 calories over my limit every day or so and occasionally 400 calories over.

I read about people who would diet for a while then slack and i am doing that exactly, anybody else in or have been in the same situation im in? Is it just a diet phase or do i really have to buckle down and focus and push through to continue my weight loss?

I may be too late to the conversation to assist but just in case you still need some help:

I would really recommend that you spend 5-10 minutes of time every couple of days getting in touch with how great you will look and feel when you reach your goal size. And how great you have felt losing the weight and working out up until now. But mostly, get that picture in your head of how well your (new!) clothes will fit and feel on your body once you reach your goal -- and all that confidence of seeing yourself smiling back at you.

Weight loss in an "inside" job with outside action! :)

If you are curious to try some hypnosis I do have a free week long Hypno-Intensive you can take on my blog at

Like I said, it's totally free and may be just what you need to get you over that bump!

Best Wishes to You!
