starting program again, making it up as i go

hi everyone. i found this looking for tips and thought i'd join.

i live in honolulu and was put on a weight loss program 2 years ago at my local 24 hour fitness. i was eating 1600 - 1800 calories a day and doing 45-50 min of low impact cardio 4-5 days a week for about 6 months.

i took a trip with a friend after that and was told that i looked drastically different, but i couldn't see it. i was still embarrassed to even be on the beach in a 2-piece. since we were in thailand it didn't really matter that much and i did.

i was a size 12 and was comfortably fitting a size 8. it was strange to me because i still felt like i needed to lose more weight.

anyway, i finally saw a photo of myself [] and realized i had lost way too much weight. at that point i stopped counting calories and working out for 1 year. now i'm back to a size 12 and have excess fat all over my body. i feel worse than ever and want to try again, but monitor myself a bit better so i don't get so neurotic about it.

welcome honolulu! You did it before and you can do it again! I too have lost weight only to gain it back( but I gained wayyy more than I thought I ever would) Just do what worked before...healthy eating and exercise. It never fails!
