Hey all, just found this forum today. Looks like a good place for support.
I gained a lot of weight after I had surgery on my knee in 2003. I was very active up to that point and it just all went to poo after that.
I drink too much diet soda - having a really hard time weaning myself off of that. I eat convenience foods because they are... convenient. I don't exercise because I'm lazy and don't want too.
Well, I want to, but I can't make myself REALLY want too.
I bought a new book called the 3 hour diet which looks pretty interesting.
I'm 39 and single and have a beautiful horse, a rabbit and a guinea pig. I am in the SCA - a worldwide medieval reenactment group. I haven't particpated in the swordfighting in a few years because of the weight gain.
I do suffer from horrid migraines and the docs want to do surgery next month to fix a deviated septum and remove my tonsils. This will likely help my sleep apena, open my airways more and that 'could' help my migraines.
I'm looking forward to learning and meeting everyone here. It's good to know I'm not alone in this!
