Hey folks. I'm back, and I want to get serious about losing weight this time.
The last time I was on a scale, I was around 360 lbs. I want to get down to a healthy weight, but my immediate goal is to make my clothes fit better. My size 46 pants cut into me, and my 3X shirts that have buttons tend to unbutton when my gut pushes out on them.
The problem is, it's pretty much impossible for me to keep a good diet. I live with my parents. I don't have time for a job because I go to school full time (start back on Wednesday) and I couldn't find a job if I tried. Trying to get my mom to get me the sort of food I need to eat is about as productive as asking my dog to translate Japanese for me. The only thing I can do is cut back on what I DO eat and try to deal with the cravings I have throughout the day and especially late at night.
I'm going to try to go back to drinking nothing but water. It's going to be difficult because I LOVE Coke and Kool-Aid. I'm also going to try to cut back on all the fast food I eat.
I've read that it's important to eat breakfast, so I'm going to try to do that. Again, the problem is that I can't get the right kind of food to eat. Is it okay if I just have a bit of toast when I wake up if I can't do any better?
The most obvious thing I need to get back in the habit of is exercising. I'm going to try to get back in the habit of walking every day.
Your answers/advice/encouragement will be appreciated.
