Starting C25k. Anyone?

Hello hello everyone....

I have been thinking about starting the c25k program. I have done it a couple of times, reached as far as week 5 or 6 and fallen off the wagon. Since joining this forum, I have realized that I deliver more on my goals when I talk about what I am doing and the community here is so great. Nothing is as wonderful as someone saying that you are doing well when you are doubting yourself. And you know they are not saying it just for the heck of it, they are saying it coz they mean it.

So long story short, I am thinking about starting the c25k program this week. Preferably Wendesday. I used Robert Ullery's podcasts before, and they are great. Now I am wondering if there are members of the community out they who would like to start with me. Those who were contemplating the program and were looking for motivation buddy?

I know there's already a c25k thread running, but members there are so far ahead. What is a newbie to do?

So please join in....lets talk about our goals, stretching, day's progress, what part of the body is sore after a run :ack2: and lets make this a success.

Anyone?

It took me about two weeks to get mentally prepared for c25k, but I did W1D1 today evening and I feel great!

I have done C25K before, and I don't remember the first week being very easy. I know I may be jumping the gun when I say this, but W1D1 was easy. After I ran 60secs the first couple of times, I felt like I wasn't being challenged enough, so I would run a little bit longer each interval. I don't know if that's the right thing to do or not. Or maybe I am just so excited that I am not thinking about how my body is responding. Lets see if W1D2 is gonna feel the same.

Can't wait for W1D2 on Monday.

How is everyone else doing with c25k?

I just started the program last week. I noticed a lack of comprehensive, to the point websites out there for it so I'm designing one right now. It's still really incomplete but if anyone has suggestions I'm more than open to hear them out.
