Day 1 Monday (09-06-2014)

Weight: 18 Stone 8lb (260lbs)

Breakfast: none (woke up late)

Lunch: Wholemeal Brown wrap with chicken and salad

Snack: Apple

Tea: 8oz Sirloin Steak, Brown wholemeal Pasta, Mixed Vegetables with some lazy chillis.

After Tea Snack: Fresh Pineapple

Drinks: Water, Coffee with Sweetner

It sounds like you have a great plan. Hopefully the healthy changes you make will make you feel better physically and mentally.

Breakfast: 2 x Boiled Eggs

Lunch: Wholemeal Brown wrap with chicken and salad

Snack: Apple

Tea: 8oz Sirloin Steak, Brown wholemeal Pasta, Mixed Vegetables with some lazy chillis.

Drinks: Water, Coffee with Sweetener

When should I do my weigh in? before or after the weekend? because I got 2 days off coming up because Saturday I am going to my Wife's Brother's wedding and it is the start of the World Cup (Football/Soccer) (so will have a few Ciders/Vodkas at the wedding and with the game) and Sunday is my Wifes birthday so going out to a Indian Restaurant, So will continue my diet until Friday, have Sat and Sun off, then Back on it Monday.

Also admins/mods could you change the title on this thread? I put the wrong weight down in the title it should be 18 stone 8lb (263lb) not 18 stone 6lb (258lb), thanks :)

Do it before weekend, I always weigh on Friday morning because we have chippy on friday night and that piles on the pounds the next morning!

Are you doing any exercise along with the diet? I know it'll be hard with your motivational problems but I'm firmly of the belief that you need to exercise to burn the fat off for long term weight loss. I think if you diet, get to your goal, and come off the diet it will just pile back on.

Unfortunately I can't comment on your diet because I don't really know anything about what you should and shouldn't be eating. I'm a very picky eater so have just cut out all the obvious things like crisps and fizzy drinks and using exercise as my main method of weight loss.
 
Hi GS1981! I'm certainly not the best with choosing healthy food, but it does look to me like what you are eating is pretty healthy!

I think it just takes a bit of time to see the results on the scale, which I know can be so very frustrating!

I managed to drop 3lb, although with getting hammered twice over the weekend I bet I have put it all back on, not going to weigh myself again until next Thursday tho (cos I'm having Thursday off this week, England match on tv so will be drinking).

Put on 1lb this week :(, i'll give this another few days, I'm getting no help from anywhere, real life, on here etc, with my lack of motivation its not easy.
 
You are the only one that can motivate yourself GS. You need to do it for yourself, not for others, not for what others will say or think. It's never easy. But you need to do it for yourself.
 
I understand this but people commenting and suggesting things motivates me, thats why i came here in the first place.
 
I've given up now anyway, it takes motivation to write everything i have written, just to find the forum is dead, i'm just gonna copy and paste this to another site.
