Starting 400lb Club!!!!

Sounds great. I'm only around 5'6 =\ I'm somewhat short. My parents aren't that tall...so I don't know how much more I am going to grow. I do the powerlifting workout that the powerlifting coach sets out for the week with a couple of the big lifters that took me under their wing. Get this, the guy that is really helping me out is a senior. Last year as a junior, he weighed 189 and has the school record 505 lb. deadlift.

I think in the summer there is no powerlifting routine-basically do whatever you want. I was going to check out some of Alwyn Cosgrove's workouts from new rules of lifting...but I'd definitley be interested in some workouts from you. :)

Well when i was heavier i was squatting about 320lb everytime i stood up .. does that count :D

I can bench press almost 100kg/220lb though, and legg press about 160-180kg (not sure what that is in lb) :D

Those are very respectable numbers, especially for someone in a calorie deficit.

Ive always been strong, didnt take much training to get to that point either.
What do you reckon i can do once i get to my goal weight and aim to put on muscle instead of just weight loss eh? I could be the next arnold in transvestite :D

i lift 2 x 3kg weights , one in each hand, sometimes in both hands at the same time!! -- i can tell you are impressed ;)

this thread reads like double dutch to me, but good luck on your rep and bench thingys! :)

Update:

My 1RM for 6 inch BB lockouts is now 275 lbs. Seems good except my lifting partner maxed at 365 =/ but he is 30 pounds heavier and much more experienced than I, so I've got some lee-way. :)

Here I thoght I was going to be hangin with some other 400lb plus people of the other kind damnnn you and you amazing lifts ;)

Squat 450, just hit 415 in bench for first time since I was 24. Working on dead lift right now I got 315 for 3 sets of 10 so 400 should be coming soon. 36 and getting stronger LETS GO!!!!!
