Hi there everyone,

well I thought I'd post a few pix with the hopes of inspiring others to work hard towards their goals. First off, let me say that I have YET to weigh myself again so I'm sure I'm less that 184 right now. My scale broke and I'll probably wait until I join the gym to get my weight. (next week possibly)

This first pic was sent to me by one of my best male friends, Dayne. He's the skinny bastard working the catwalk. This was taken at a goth fashion show about 5-6 years ago. I thought it was cool that he sent me a photo from back in the days. However, he replied back with an email saying, "I sent it because I love you and am proud of your accomplishments so far. Find yourself in the pic." I went back to look at the picture and I swear, I had no idea that was me. Talk about a shock. I was at my heaviest weight: 225lbs in this photo.

The following pic was taken by my husband after the Tool concert in Albany, NY. (July 14th, 2007) Damn did we have a blast! Sorry for the closed eyes and stupid look... after a Guiness or two, you think you're actually smiling properly. hahaaa!

And this pic is of my husband and I rather recent at Vertex (Rochester, NY goth club)... don't mind him, he's Irish and well, drunk. hahaaa!

I assure you, I'm losing weight and feeling so much better. :) I'll get my numbers soon so I can update my ticker as well. By no means am I done. If anything, this is just the beginning. :)

PS sorry for having the pics turn out so damn big... oops.

You are gorgeous, and there is so much difference even just in your face. You can really see what you look like now :)

By the way, is that corset making your waist that tiny? thats so cool. I've never seen anything like that really.

Awww thanks, Ladies... sheesh I'm blushing. hahaaa! :hug2:

I thought I'd add a quick note: In the second photo I am wearing an underbust corset. I've been wearing tight laced corsetry for the past 10 years. However, I am NOT waist training. (You know...wearing them 24 hrs a day.. nope nothing like that. I'm not a big fan of muscle atrophy.) The corset in that pic is a 22" closed, but I made sure to give at least 4" space for Guinness. I'm allotted 1 Guinness a month. We'll see how well I keep to that when I see The Tossers and Dropkick Murphy play in Utica, NY the 11th! HA!

Beautiful

You were beautiful even before but you are totally sexy now! Actually you look like a movie star. I think your husband is not safe anymore. :eek2:
By the way how did the slimming reflect on your boobs. I do like my breasts now but unfortunately they came together with a huge belly. I wonder what will happen when I lose 40 pounds... I am scared they will hang down. :-(

These pictures are adorable! Good luck, I bet you will be pleasantly surprised when you get your numbers.

You look wonderful!

Excellent Job!!!!

:eek2: WOW!!! girl you talking about im well proportionated, YOU are well proportionated....lol...YOU LOOK VERY HOT! congrats on your accomplishments so far. You should be very proud of yourself. :)

Hi there,

thank you so much for the sweet compliment. :D As for the "girls," I'm naturally top heavy (was a 42DD) and I had a big belly. I was afraid that they would sag once the tummy started going down. In fact, it was the opposite. They became perkier and fuller (possibly due to weight training- chest flys, pushups) while losing weight. As long as you don't go rushing into losing weight, I think you'll be fine. Afterall, boobies are mainly fat. Right now, I'm a 36DD and my lower back feels a lot better... thanks to lower back exercises and working out with REALLY good, supportive sports bras. LOL (Champion sports bras are awesome!) Don't worry... the tetas will be fine. :rotflmao:

If you're going to see the Dropkick Murphys then I think you should be allowed extra guinness.
You'll dance them off in the same night anyways :beerchug:
They're a total blast to go see. I've seen them four or five times now. I have never danced so much in my whole life!

I love the Murphys!

You are a cutie, girl!

Where do you find sports bras that fit? I am only a D cup, and can NEVER find big enough sports bras.

You look great.... keep up the good work. By the way I love the monroe peircing I think they are really sexy!!! Drop Kick Murphys is 1 of my fav. bands of all time... along with the Pogues and the REAL MacKenzies. I am a huge Punk fan especially bands with a Celtic sound. You will be totally dancing your a** off at that show, it will be crazy wild. Have a great time!:rotflmao:

Awww thanks, Solon! :hug2: As for TOOL, I've been a groupy since I was 15-16 years old. hahaa Moving to NY has definitely allowed me to see them more frequently! Yah me! lol

Ummmm let's be honest with ourselves here, Alee Ala-Dammmn-ah... those puppies aren't going ANYWHERE, angel! Hahaaaaaa!!!!

haha I'm actually really looking forward to The Tossers. Woot! Hmmm lots of dancing, huh? I'll make sure to wear my 20i Gripfast boots. hahaa!

It depends, because I usually look online or I'm lucky and find them at Marshalls and TJ Max. I can fit my juggies into a size Large nowadays. A friend told me I could find good sports bras at Walmart, but ummm yah... no. They don't have enough support in them and the elastic/ spandex goes to crap quickly.

Thanks, hun. :D I've lost weight in my face (chubby cheeks), so now the rod of my piercing is a little too long. I need to go in and get a shorter rod. Yah me! This will be my first Murph's concert, but as I said, I'm really looking forward to the Tossers. My husband loves the Pogues (Shane MacGowan). We've seen Flogging Molly in Hawaii twice and it was great. Awesome seeing them perform using traditional instruments.
