Sprite's "3rd-time-lucky" Diary

Hey all!


Well this is a 2nd "fresh start" for me, and as one of my resolutions for 2008 is to reach a weight I'm happy with I feel it's "do or die" now. So here we go. :willy_nilly:


For those of you who don't know or remember me, I live in England and I work with adults with learning disabilities.


My two major deadlines are: A week in February when I want to be looking my best for several reasons; and a wedding mid-April where I am to be a bridesmaid and to add insult to injury will be standing next to two slim other bridesmaids and a very slim bride!!


Anyway I've put myself down to take part in the Valentines Day Challenge (weighing in and starting tomorrow) so in the morning the real effort begins. I have a few fresh ideas to avoid feeling like it's all the same old food and excercise. I would really like to chat to you all more and get to know you better this time around too. :D

I'm off to an ok start anyway; this morning I am 2lbs down from saturday and weighing in at 175lbs. (Which gives me an even 14lbs to hopefully shift by Valentines Day in the challenge.)

Off to the gym in a min! :hurray:
 
Well I couldn't help but step on the scales this morning... no change as yet but it's only been too days (too eager lol) so just gonna keep on at it.

Had a good couple of days food wise and I'm getting in some good excercise so it should pay off if I'm a little more patient. :blush5:

Off to the gym in a minute...! Have a good weekend all. :D

Sorry I haven't logged on on a few days... been soooo busy.

I did weigh in for the Valentines Challenge on Thurs, was down one lb... a bit dissapointing but hey it's progress. :)

Anyway I'll try to get online later and catch up on all the threads.

Today I had a horrible weigh-in lol. The scales said I'd gained a lb and gone back to 175lbs. I do think this might be more to do with increased muscle though due to the work I've been putting in at the gym so I'm not too despondent.

Just gonna crack on with the work and diet :) although I'm starting to feel less optimistic about reaching my Valentine's target at this rate!!

Sorry I haven't been stopping by people's diaries much... gonna catch up on some now.

Hi Sprite!

Don't worry, stick to your plan and you'll soon see the weight drop. Sometimes the body just needs a little time to adjust. I'm sure you can do it!

Hey Sprite :) Thanks for commenting in my diary! I hafta be in a wedding also- not till the end of May, but I have about forty lbs to lose in that time, lol, little bit more than you :rolleyes: Hope this weekend treated you well!

But it's not going too well!

Yesterday I was weighing in STILL AT THE SAME WEIGHT. I don't seem to be losing at all...! So today I am stepping up my game. I was eating well... now I'm going to be eating great. I was excercising so now I'm going to be excercising very hard. *pulls a determined face*

I'm losing this weight if it kills me :banghead: I'm sick of seeing the same old number on the scale now!

I want to see a RESULT next week...!
