I lost over 100 lbs since August 2008. Personally, I don't 'see' any changes. Not even naked in front of the mirror, it all looks just as bad as before.
I notice changes in clothes, and people comment, but I just can't see it.
As for 'feeling' the differences - a few things are easier. Tying shoelaces without getting out of breath is nice, and stuff like that. But running up a flight of stairs still makes me feel as if I'll go into cardiac arrest at any given moment.
So....I'm still waiting for results I guess.
I started at around 385, managed to get down to 250, now back up to 285...was up to 300 again, but lost 15 in the meantime. So yeah...still at it. Just took a break for a while.
My goal weight is about 200, give or take a few, depending on how I feel then. I have no set weight, but I'm 5"11 and have a generally rather 'large' frame, so 200 should be okay.
As for noticing things....well, I went from size 32/34 jeans to size 22 at the moment (UK size), so yes, I KNOW the difference is there, I just can't see it in the mirror. It's weird...when I was at my heaviest, I looked in the mirror and couldn't see HOW fat I really was. Now I can't seem to see anything else.....
The human mind is a confusing thing, I tell you! *lol*
I saw InItToWinIt's post and it made me curious... When did everyone start seeing a physical change in their bodies and when did you start feeling an internal change in your bodies?
