specific cellulite issue

hey guys!
alright, so I'm pretty convinced I can find help here. I'm a girl (20 years old) and I have quite a bit of cellulite on the back of my thighs. here's the thing though: I'm 5'2, 110 pounds. I work out every day for an hour, mostly aerobic type stuff. I switch up my exercises regularly so that my body won't get too used to a certain type of workout. I eat very well, no junk food, organic as much as possible. it's really just my legs that are the issue. I realize that this is likely hereditary, although I refuse to believe there's nothing I can do about it. any exercises you guys can recommend? I'm not big on the yoga thing, really, although I know it helps with circulation. I just have no patience for it.
any tips will be very appreciated!

unfortunately no one really knows how to treat cellulites. There are some treatments but none of them are really proven that well and they have a tendency to be temporary. about 85% of all women have them so at least you're not alone. I doubt exercise helps. In some cases losing weight can help in overweight people (though sometimes weight loss makes them worse!) but you're not overweight.

If it really bothers you, you could try some of the treatment options, but to do that you'd have to qualify a professional who knows what might (and I stress might) actually work.

I did some reading on cellulite as I have it too and it doesn't seem to go away. My mother does not have it so I am curious as to why I do. It appears in most reports it is genetic, if your mother has it, your more then likely to have it too. Men do not have it as it is related to the female hormone oestrogen (sp!) although there are ofcouse some men who do buck the trend.

I took up powerplate lessons- nothing, not even a reduction. I do alot of cario work (infact most of my workouts are cardio) I am not saying I don't have any fat but I cannot "pinch an inch" so again I was confused. Then I read it was to do with the break down of collegen under the skin. It can be promted by lots of yo-yo dieting- losing then regaining then losing weight in cycles. Its the new fat and the old fat cells apparently not blending well together- or something like that.

I don't know if it helps but I spent about 4 months in a hospital when I was sevearly anorexic. I had people around me of all BMIs from a BMI of 9 to 20 and cellulite does seem to apply to even those that are grossly underweight. It does not seem to be a result of being too large or having too much fat- even those with not anywhere near enough fat had some cellulite (we compated thighs) some even had it on their stomachs and its hard when your that tiny to see all this cellulite and not think "its my bodies way of saying I am too large", its very hard to tell your friend who has a BMI of 15 that infact she still does need to gain more weight to be healthy and that her cellulite is not a sign of being too large.

Please don't assume its fat/weight related, it is hormone related. Please don't think that hours and hours of cardio will take it all away, it wont. Some people say deep sweedish style massages work, others say the difference is negliable. I'd say that your female hormones are to blame and unless you want to take away all of what gives you the option to have a baby,- and even then theres no actual evidence its all theories, learn to live with it.

Its not nice but I would say theres not much you can really do. (Besides operate...). I have it too and it would appear most women have some form somewhere which worsens with age as the hormone balance shifts.
