Some questions

hello,

Ive recently started training a little bit ( needed something to kill time with ), and im thinking about taking it up a few levels. After reading and learning a lot on this forum i still got some questions left.
First of all, after about 3 months of playing with weights and doing pushups ( about 300 every evening), i notice my chest muscle's have increased a lot. The only problem is that my right side is bigger and different shaped then the left side .... In the beginning i thought it would work out, but right now im getting a bit scared because it is really noticable. When i do pushups, or lift weights, i try to make sure both my arms are exactly the same, so i work out on both sides equally, but the difference just keeps growing.

And my second question is: I usually read about people training their upper chest 2 or 3 times a week, but what happens if you train it more then that?
Like every day for example. Would that end up badly?

Doing 300 pushups a night is a horrible way to train - you are going to need to hit the weights at anything from 3-12 reps, depending on the sets and your goals. To even out the difference, dumbells can ensure that you are working each side equally.

You don't want to be training only chest on a day - It would hardly even work right that way with synergists activating. Figure to get into a full-body routine: Testosterone Nation - Total-Body Training

There's something to start you out with bro. You will be getting a lot more frequency and it is great to start out with.

Doing 300 pushups a night is not that bad. If you are working on muscular endurance 300 can actually benefit you. Weights are more effective, of course, so do 3 full body workouts per week. Pushups are so under-rated it's rediculous.

Most of the time people aren't doing 300 pushups just to do 300 pushups - they want strength or size, save a few. And doing 300 pushups a night will do squat for those goals.

Yes doing more than 2 or 3 is fine, but i always stress that you should always have a rest day in between.

Although your chest muscle is probably more likely due to proper technique when doing your weight exercises, it is possible that you may have an absent pec minor or sternocoastal pec major. If one of your nipples is lower than the other this would make this scenario even more likely.

Could anyone explain me what "sternocostal pec major" and "absent pec minor" means?
Thanks for the replies btw =)

jesus you're doin exactly what i was doin (300 push ups a night) and i had the same problem, smaller left pek. its true that dumbells will help you keep even, try them, worked for me......

........ i feel like im on a infomercial

pec minor is just the small muscle underneath the pec major (chest muscle), and this pec major has fibres originating from the sternum , and the upper one from the medial collar bone.
