Ok, Ok, before you all jump on me and can me a negative nelly, nothing comes without a price. So I thought I would start a thread to see some of the negative things we experience when losing weight. Maybe in doing so we can share some ideas to help each other and share some wisdom.
I will start:
1. As I mentioned in other threads, some of my friends are avoiding me now since I have become more active and fit.
2. Workout and exercise pain aside, now my ribs are more exposed without that comfy layer of fat, and sleeping on my belly, I am having a hard time because I am getting pressure sores on my skin from where the bone is not so nicely padded anymore. I know it will eventually go away, but it is REALLY painful and affecting my sleeping.
3. I look like a clown at work. Well, ok, maybe not quite a clown, but I am at the point where my clothes are all obviously too big and bunched up and baggy, but I dont feel I am at the point of buying new ones yet since I am only half way. But I absolutely hate the way the cloth around my crotch and lower belly puffs out, making it look like I havent lost a pound!
In the long run, these are merely temporary annoyances that I know will work themselves out soon enough. But in the meantime it isnt fun. I dont feel deprived food wise or injured from exercise, just minor grumbles. But truly this is a no pain no gain type of struggle we are waging isnt it?
Anyone have some complaints or gripes they are suffering as a result of becoming leaner, meaner healthier machines?
