Here I am, finally in the "diary" forum. I have been jotting my stuff down in the "general" forum. It just took me a little while to get things straight. Thank you CFL for pointing it out to me.
Well, I just entered today's happenings in my "cold turkey" thread. It is a new day now so I will start this diary off as a new day.
This is a diary of my journey to my success not only in my weight loss but also in going off soda pop cold turkey.
I just started the first of this year. No new year resolution, but, making a change in my lifestyle, etc.
I have tried many times to loose this weight with success and failure. I, like many others, have done the yo-yo weight loss and am tired of it.
I have slipped a bit this past week and have noticed the difference in how I feel from the healthier eating habits to the bad habits. I will say I prefer the healthier habit. It is not an overnight change and I have to constantly remind myself that I did not gain the weight overnight therefore It will not come off over night, unless I have a genie in a bottle and that I do not have.
I do not keep track of calories. That does not work for me as then I spend too much time with the food process, etc and end up getting frustrated and bored and then fall off the wagon. I have been making healthier choices and portion sizes. So far that is working good for me. BUT I have to keep the goodies out of the house, out of sight.... out of mind. The best for me.
I am always looking for suggestions, tips and encouragment. I like to share mine also.
Until next time......
