hi i'm jes.
i've never put much effort into losing weight before, and now i feel like THIS is the perfect time to start caring and punch up the effort a notch....
my peak weight was about 290. i currently weigh 239. woo hoo go me. i'm 22, almost 23.
i never TRIED really hard to lose weight in the past few months i've lost weight. i got a job that i pretty much run around at all day, and just started eating less. it worked. now i want to lose more weight. i want to look and feel better. i figured coming to a place like this would help my motivation.
i'm thinking about signing up for Curves. it's kind of expensive, considering the budget my roommate (Gayman) and i are going to have to swing this month (we're moving AGAIN), but it would be a good idea for me, because i don't want to plateau out and have my job runnin around not be enough movement to keep the lbs dropping off.
this past week, i hooked up with, and am now dating a guy that i've had feelings for on and off for the past about 3 years. he confessed his undying, and i responded in the same manner, so now we're happily trying to figure out this long distance crap till he's done with medical school. he's gorgous, might i add (i'm not perfect, but i'm not ugly, and i certainly must say i know how to pick em hehe) but i just don't know how i snagged this one. he's not really overweight, just has a love handle, but told me when we lived in the same vicinity, we'd totally go to the gym together. he also ate the last sticky bun (terd, i didn't even get one lol) and proclaimed "well i know you want to lose weight so i was just helping ya" he's sweet and funny, and once we live in the same area, he'll definately be fabulous motivation. i want to look good for my man, as well as myself.
my favorite motivation thus far is being able to shop in TJMaxx, which is totally not a big deal for most people, but for me and my Gayman to go frolicing through, and acctually finding something that belongs on an almost 23 year old instead of a 68 year old that FITS is LOVELY. Gayman is almost as excited as me about the weight loss, and probably MORE so excited about the shopping part.
i have a great 2 person support group, even though one is 5 hrz away (boyfriend).
oh i've rambled, sry all hehe. so maybe some advice on how to keep the lbs dropping, motivational words of advice, what your plan is, how you do it, watever watever. gimme wat you've got, and i'll see you all on the boards! thanks for reading my blurb!
