Hey.
So I'm a moderately overweight,19 year old girl. Joining here to try and keep me motivated to exercise and eat well, cos damn, food is so good. All and any help i very much appreciated, I really struggle with the self esteem thing. Oh the joys.

Hi Boo62, welcome! it's good to meet you. Yes, I know all about "food is so good" but there comes a time hopefully when one realizes which foods are good and which are bad, some are very bad, they will take many years off your life, the sooner one realizes that, the better! Your young, the body responds well at your age, now is the time to start maintaining good health.

Food can indeed be good - but it can be bad too.

Adopting a new healthy lifestyle where you are more active and choose to eat healthy food at the right calorie level is hard work - but like any lifestyle / habit - it gets easier after a while... Choose to adopt those healthy habits and you will get amazing rewards... Even very big people can become as slim as their friends (or slimmer)... I did!!! :)

I just wish that I had done it when I was young... I didnt drop down from being severely morbidly obese until I was in my late 40s... You can do it now! I encourage you to do so.
