hi my names tia i am 5'11" and weigh probably close to 300lbs and ive decided to try and approach my weight in a new "healthier" way. ever since i was 13 the only solution i ever did was to just stop eating entirely, i'd start losing weight, after a month or so someone would notice i (never) ate...soooo id put the weight on plus more. ive had serious confidence problems since i was 6 and have been having problems with weight since i was about 5. and im desperate to loose weight before i get serious medical problems and would appreciate any advice people have..

good idea

stopping eating is definitely not a safe way to lose weight- but i am sure you are aware of it.

i just started on herbalife with two of my friends- i lost half a kilo, one lost 1.2 kilo's and 17total cm, and the other lost 2 kilos, the amazing part is that this is in 4 days.

if you want me to tell you about the products let me know, if not i hope you choose another safe option

Good luck :waving:

Hi & welcome. :seeya:

I'm sure you've registered here because you realise the way you've been doing things isn't safe and doesn't get results and you want to do it the right way this time.

You're in the right place for plenty of advice and support. Just remember it will be a long slow road so you'll need to be patient and committed.

Good luck with everything. :D

Welcome to the forums!

And congratz on wanting to make a postive change for a healthier you. As you have probably already learned, DIETS dont work . . and when they seem to work, the results dont last.

Permanent healthy weightloss is acheived by eating a healthy diet in a caloric range based on a number of things like age, weight, exercise level etc. And increasing your activity level.

Start by making small changes and build on them. Be sure to check with a doctor before starting an exercise program. And many find that keeping a diary /journal is a great tool as well.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you start a diary and enjoy posting in it. When I discovered it last year it really helped me stick to my plan long enough to see results. Welcome.
