Hello Everyone
I am so glad I have found a forum like this, been reading for a while and now decided to post and start some weight loss.
I am 35 year old fellow who has been trying to, well not actually!, lose weight for 10 years.
I always start tomorrow and lack self will power. Recently been thinking about having a personal trainer, but as my wife said, I must correct the eating. Its me, and only me thats putting the food in my mouth.
We moved from Europe, Ireland actually, to Hong Kong 4 months ago. I thought that this would be the fresh start, eat healthly, walk, some fitness, but no, same as every other time, I only ever get as far as thinking about it.
I have no structure to eating, I look at food and think, corr! bet that tastes good!, it does so I have another!!
Being in Hong Kong has made things even worse regarding clothes, I am an embarassing 44" wasit. Its nearly impossible to find jeans and casual clothes. I look at clothes and thing that looks great, and i look and hey no surprise they dont make it in size 44" waist.
I am an airline pilot and hate putting on my uniform, it just looks dreadful on me, I blamed the company tailor for a while, but its not his fault I am overweight. I find it difficult to refuse food on long flights, and often end up eating Hagen Das ice cream, god I wish they would stop having it on board.
Its wake up time for me, but I just dont know hoe to motivate myself, hence my joining this forum and reading other peoples stories.
Any support, info or contact from anyone else working within aviation or anyone in Hong Kong, or indeed anyone else would be much appreciated.
