Sleep

I go to bed between 10:30-11:30pm every day (except Friday and Saturday), and wake up at 7:00am. However, I am still way tired and could use a few more hours of sleep.

I'm wondering if my tiredness will get better as I begin to get into better shape and lose weight. I would really love to be able to go to sleep when I do and be able to wake up at like 6am. Right now.. It's just not possible or I will be a zombie!

So my question is.. Will weightless and exercise help my sleeping situation?

Yes. Totally.

You will get a better sleep over time. You will just feel more fresh and energized over the time. Try eating some fruits in the morning. Try an apple or kiwi in the morning - gonna help you to wake up and feel more energized.

Hope that helps.

I would have to say a firm yes on this one.

When I was at my heaviest, I was sleeping 10 hours a night on average, and sometimes sleeping as much as 12 or 13 hours a night.

Now, I sleep 8 hours a night on average, and never more than 10 hours a night.

As someone who is picky about how I spend my time, I can tell you that one of the interesting things about it all is that by dedicating 1 to 2 hours of my day to exercise, I am actually breaking even (or better) on my total free time, as I am spending fewer hours sleeping each night thanks to losing weight.
