Skittles Weight Loss Diary

Today has totally sucked, I have been extremely depressed all morning and I ended up doing the same thing I always seem to do and that is eat when i'm upset. For lunch I had two chilli dogs without the bun and about 3/4 of a snack cake which the snack cake alone had 410 calories. I feel horrible for doing it, which is why I decided to post about it immediately. I hoping that this will remind me in the future not to do it again. I hate being an emotional eater. I can give myself credit for one thing, I did stop when I was full.

stopping when full is a good thing...

And not throwing the entire day away is even better...

Just regroup and keep going forward..

Why have you been depressed? and in the future (putting oon my annoying dr phil mask) what do you think you could do instead of eating? because the eating didn't make you feel better...

My depression is caused from having an apartment that I can't afford. Hopefully it will get better soon since I'm moving back in with my mom.

It's been a couple of days since I last posted, mostly because I the I had a little struggle with my diet and I really felt like I was totally starting to lose control. Today is our "Christmas" party for work and I'm really excited about it. Lots of dancing and games. We also have a catered meal but if its anything like last year, I won't have to worry too much about my diet cause the food wasn't all the great. I am so looking for to the dancing, that is my absolute favorite part. I think I am starting to get back on track again. For breakfast/lunch I had a healthy pizza and a glass of milk. and a 100 calorie nutty bar. I won't be eating again until the party tonight, but I have to remind myself to eat in moderation.

I'm sorry about your apartment problems but it's awesome that you have a mom who will take you in. As for getting back on the diet wagon I notice that a lot of your calories come from goods that are highly processed. I suggest getting at least once serving of fruit/vegetable and protein in each meal and try to eat at least every 5 hours, preferably every 3 hours. I think you'll find that it'll be easier for you to stay within your caloric intake goals.

Why is it, if you break your diet once it's nearly impossile to get started back on it? I decided to buy all kinds of fruits and stuff to take to work to munch on. I bought unsweetened applesauce, grape tomatoes, bananas, and peach in light syrup. Hopefully, that will help me to get back on the right track by munching on them instead of fattening candy and chewing gum.
