Skipping :)

Wasn't sure to put this but anyways..

I've just started skipping, to get my fitness levels up :) And hopefully to shed a few Kg's in the long term, but that dosn't matter now haha.

Who has kept skipping up long-term? What sort of results have you had? & What are your thoughts on skipping? :)

I do 30mins a day, in 2.3min reps, coz thats all i can handle! It certinaly gives you a workout :D
 
Only skipping? I don't do skipping but would skipping alone suffice? Don't you need some resistence training as well?
 
skipping won't work, not just enough. why not combine it with jogging or biking. or maybe you can add hours on skipping, that should help you a bit.
 
Skipping is really just another compound plyometric exercise, so it makes it a very good exercise for the lower body and core. In conjunction with a resistance program and the cardio you are already doing, it's a great exercise.
 
skipping is a good warm up but once you develop your rhythm and calf muscles it becomes very easy and you can do it for a LONG time without elevating your heart rate.

I skip as a warm up and to keep me on my toes for fight training but not for cardio.
