Skipping & Boxing

if i skip and box will that lose weight?

Also How Long Do You think it will take me to get from 170lb to 150lb? by doing these, and weigh / cardio training 4 times a week?

You should not want to lose "weight." Rather, you should desire the loss of fat. And you can't simply ask, "if I box and skip, will I lose fat." Sure, they can be cardiovascular activities that burn enough calories to aid in fat loss. However, this won't happen if you are not eating correctly and doing the other aspects of healthy living properly.

Eat right, perform cardio, lift weights, drink plenty of water, rest. There is a whole lot that goes into it.

I suggest reading up on some of the posts to build a base of knowledge to start with.
 
I agree with stroutman81. Boxing and skipping are great cardio activities. So I think they can play a part in your fat loss goals. But reality is you'll have better success with a regular and consistent cardio, strength training, nutrition, hydration and rest plan.
