Skipped period?

So it's almost June 1, which means I either skipped a period or am profoundly late. I'm not pregnant. The only major change is my food and exercise. Is this a problem? Am I doing something wrong?

It could be a factor of your age. If you have only had your period for about less than 5 years, it's natural for your period to come late or early sometimes.
If it is because of your food, stop dieting for a little while. If you're getting to caught up with dieting, you could be making yourself nutrient-deficient. Make sure you are getting enough calories and nutrients! Extreme malnutrition can lead to sterilization.

were you regular til this point?

exercise, nutrition or lack thereof, stress, changesin your life, anything can cause your cycle to go haywire...

I wouldnt be too concerned about missing one - as long as you're certain there's no chance of pregnancy (immaculate conception was barely believable once :D

If you don't get it next month - consider seriously making a doctor's appointment... and do make sure you're not over exercising and under eating...

If I remember correctly... you're 5'2" and around 139 pounds?? It's highly unlikely you are missing your period due to malnutrition( I've read your food diary).
It must be some other reason.

I'm 19 and have never missed a period in my life, that I can remember. There's absolutely no chance of pregnancy.

5'2 and the last time I weighed myself I was 137. My calories per day are usually about 1200-1500. I'm exercising about 4 days a week, but nothing extremely intense at all.

I'll wait and see if I do get it late after all.

I wouldn't worry either. If you skip it again next month, then see your doctor. But I doubt you'll miss it again. ~

Sometimes losing weight throws your hormones out of wack, i doubt it is weight related - you need a very low % of body fat for your period to stop.

Although, isn't that a sign of PCOS? Maybe you should go to your doctor if it doesn't come in a couple of months.

Try not to stress, cause that just delays it even more.

I actually missed my period for several months on end, got it, and then missed for several more months. I had been regular for about 7 years at the time it had happened. I went to the GYNO and it turned out to be a only a hormone imbalance. I went on birth control and it fixed it right away. One month isn't too much of an issue though. If you're not up and ready to head to the doctors, just try to wait it out a little bit.
