Hi 
I live in a gorgeous beach town in Adelaide, Australia. It is almost summer (backward seasons from the west!) and the temperature is starting to rise! I really dont want to be the fat chick on the beach again and be self concious about my cossie!
Most of my friends are petite and slim and pretty soon our whole socail life will be beach based and I dont want to feel like a whale anymore! Im 80lbs over weight, which i am quite ashamed of to be honest. Usual reasons - too much food and not enough exercise! I dont have the excuse fo having kids or any health problems...Im fat because i eat too much and im lazy. At the moment im a size 18 Aus size and i would like to get down to a size 12. My ideal weight is 170lbs but i will be happy to get under 200 and then anything else is a bonus!
Im going to keep a food diary and an exercise log and hopefully this site and my records will keep me on track. Im quite determind and i really want to feel healthier and look a bit nicer in a swimming cossie!

i will make a friday my official weigh in day so i have a couple more days until i can record and actual weight loss!
Yet more motivation to succeed and get the wine weight off!
3 mile walk after lunch...wasnt a lovely day but it was pretty much dry! Cant really use exercise dvds as i live in an apartment and i dont think the people downstairs will be too pleased! Thankfully rubbish weather isnt all that common here so we should be back to normal soon
