Six months of Walking the Dog!

Nice Job TF.

You're the finished product most of us dream and strive for. You remind me how far I have to go yet but keeps the fire alive inside to keep pushin'.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks all. Wolfy gave me the impetus, and he makes sure that I don't sit down too long, but it was also about a lot of healthy eating, cutting diet, and other exercise. I didn't have as far to go on my journey as people on this forum, who have started from much larger weights - and I hold those people with the highest respect - you keep going for it guys, you're the tops!

I'm not the finished product yet - I probably never will be, because I want to get even fitter, and to keep myself in a good state. I didn't finish a diet - when I reached my final target weight, I modified it - I still control what and how I eat, and intend to for the long term. I want to prove the skeptics wrong - you can lose weight long term.

Wow neat belt for dog walking.I am into walking my dog for exesice and he is a runner when he sees another gog.Is it the same as a regular leash like roll it up when pass another dog to prevent a dog war lol!
The floodwall I take him to walk is doggie heaven so you are constantly pulling and holding him back and it gets rough so is the belt for me?
Congrats on that huge weightloss you look gr8!Tammy

TF - what an amazing visual on just how far you & Wolfy have come!

I have two little ankle sharks (pomeranian & papillion) that would DIE if I took them on one of my walks ;) I so need a bigger dog ;)

I love the fact that you see this as a life change that you've made and are continuing to work towards higher levels of fitness :)

You're a great inspiration!

Talk about a great transformation! And your Wolfy is beautiful! I have an Akita whom I love dearly named Gizmo...he'll be a year old later this month and is already 102 lbs, and it's really hard to walk him because he pulls me so much, but I can see that dog walking would be the best form of exercise!!! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your photos! Oh, and I checked out your personal website and love your ancestors photos....I swear if I didn't know any better, I think I lived in England during the early 1800's....but oh well.

You look fantastic!!! Great job!!!

Thanks Eve.

Akitas are beautiful dogs - Wolfy is often mistaken for one! I'm glad that you enjoyed my ancestors photos - I pretty much forgot about them, so had a browse through them again myself!

if it weren't the amount of hair those dogs can shed.. especially when they blow their coats.. i'd love a sweet puppy like wolfie...

She's probably enjoying keeping her doggish figure too and attracting all the other doggies at the park :D

you look fantastic.. way to go!!!

Wolfy is in good condition - but its dispite his bad diet. He has a great nature - he loves and trusts all dogs and humans, loves to play, never shows any aggression. We have a good bond - I can still walk him off leash - a husky! However, the flip side of the coin is that he is an awful pig and a thief. He scours the ground sniffing for any waste chucked down when we walk in urban areas - fries, bread crusts, chicken bones - anything that he considers edible. And he steals given any chance! Last week he stole and ate (in a few minutes), almost an entire loaf of sliced wholemeal bread!

So, his good figure is down to exercise ;)

Wow! You look great! That's something you should really be proud of!
Your Husky dog sounds like my chihuahua! :D

tf,
You're photos are cool...felt like I was overseas there for a minute. You look great man. I'll look at the other 9 pages of photos later ;-)

Hey! Your t-shirt in that picture looks huge on you! Your upper body is really toning up! Great job!

Your upper body is really toning up!
Yeah, thats actually quite a pleasant response to the weight training! I had man boobs since I was a boy, but suddenly I have these hard lumps growing on my chest - I think they are called muscles! Really feels wierd!
